You have the two major candidates, one who clearly has age-related deterioration of his capabilities and the other is mentally unstable and nearly as old debating who is less competent. One talks about how he’s a very stable genius because his uncle taught at MIT, the other says he needs an earlier bedtime because he travelled two weeks previously, so he’d appreciate it if all foreign enemies and Mother Nature would make sure crises only occur before 8 pm EST. Then you have a third candidate wander by with someone in a worm costume eating his brain, asking the audience if he isn’t starting to look a little better, after all. Sure, he’s got brain damage and indulges in the occasional conspiracy theory, but at least he’s not as bad as those other two.

The sleep excuse from Bidens camp is extra hilarious because his nickname for years now is “Sleepy Joe” from Trump. Biden just confirmed Trumps nickname was right. Biden already ends his schedule at 4pm and begins his day at 10am with a break for lunch and an afternoon nap. He can’t string a sentence together and probably thinks he’s in Scranton not at the WH . He’s demented and old, and others are running the country . The President has to be available for domestic and global crises at any hour of the day or night. That phone can ring. Biden is too busy eating pudding and taking naps to run the country. Jill manages him.

Hunter and Jill manage the country.

1) Being alert after 4pm or vertical before 10 is NOT a requirement in the constitution! My teenager also has very particular sleep needs and he's a great kid!
2) Hunter is an accomplished oil & gas executive and MULTI millionaire. He is probably better equipped to run the country than orange man.
3) Jill is a doctor. I don't care what kind of doctor.

The delusion is strong in this one.

I think you failed to recognize the PP's trolling. The PP is not pro-Biden.

A few people are thinking about inflation and world war but the story has traction with many other, more reasonable voters.

Joe Biden is a vibrant, healthy, intellectually sharp man, and few voters are thinking about inflation.

What?! He just stated in an interview that he is a black woman.

Trump says batshit crazy shit like that and worse all the time. Sharks and batteries and windmill cancer and all that. But the supposedly "leftist" MSM media has been totally ignoring it for this entire election cycle while being hyperfocused on every single Biden gaffe or stutter. 4 or 5 headlines about Biden's problems on CNN and NY Times every single day but complete crickets where it comes to Trump and Project 2025 or Trump posting crazy things like he wants to round up people like Liz Cheney and have "televised military tribunals" because of what, not bending the knee to King Trump? NOTHING about it. And you call out the media for it, only to get a patronizing pat on the head and "yes yes the people already know all that" - which is complete bullspit, because if they did, they would be calling for Trump to drop out the way they are for Biden. The media are basically in the bag for corrupt, senile Trump at this point. I've already canceled several subscriptions.

Democrat voters emphatically nominated Biden for 2nd term knowing his mental state, which is well documented over the years.

There are dozens of videos of Biden's decline, including the 2022 video of Easter bunny showing him where to be on white house lawn. It was hiding in plain sight for any objective voter to see. They bet he could hide out in basement as he effectively did in 2020 and they bet wrongly.

Removing him because of perceived electoral disadvantage is a cynical take on "doing the right thing" or "saving democracy".

Brokering a different nominee in a back room deal is decidedly undemocratic, bordering on insurrection IMO.

Republicans knew Bob Dole was toast when he fell of that stage circa 1996 but we didn't try to swap him out.

I would agree that swapping him out now is not really an option.
But, I disagree that the voters knew his mental state. Many people did - and if they voiced this concern they were called right wing conspirators.
Go back a couple months ago and look how any publication that dared question his cognitive state was raked over the coals.

"Expert Class advisors?" Like Mayorkas? Or, Granholm? Or, Buttigeig? Or, Sullivan? Or, Rachel Levine or Becerra?
Those "experts?"
