Historical facts that forced birthers ignore: when women’s lives are treated like dirt, the value of life in general goes down. Things like this happen and you certainly can’t go to the doctor and expect help; if anything had gone wrong the woman is now a suspect - what did you do wrong and so forth. Of course a teenager isn’t going to be getting prenatal care if she has an unsafe home life. The pp is correct; this is the first of many.

This. And can you imagine all those women who have either lost a pregnancy or had a stillbirth being reported to the police and have to relive all of that?

It's like the authorities were such morons they didn't realize that going back in time meant going back to the "old ways" of just abandoning babies to die or burying them in the back yard.
