best bouncy seat to buy for baby

any opinions on which one is best ---

I have been told the rainforest one from Fisher Price is good:http://www.buybuybaby.com/product.asp?order_num=-1&SKU=14994904&RN=7082&

but then I heard that some Moms don't like it because the baby cannot reach the toys on the bar and thus, gets frustrated.

Any thoughts?

if there is one that plugs in as opposed to being dependent on batteries, I would think that is best.

I disagree w/ the PP. We moved our bouncy seat all over the house, and it was much more portable and flexible using batteries. Yes, you have to change them frequently and you'll go through surprising numbers of C and D batteries, but get used to that... All baby stuff is like that.

They don't make it anymore, but our son LOVED the Fisher Price Sensory Selections bouncy seat. If you can find a used one on Craig's List or something, I highly recommend that one.

We have one with a battery operated plastic barking, singing, dancing dog attachment. We've rarely used the attachment but use the seat itself all the time. DS never really got into the attachment thingy. Lucky for us since the music is so annoying. The attachment just gets in the way, imo, so I would personally say the simpler the better when it comes to bouncy seats.

i thought this was covered before0 like recently? anyway- dc1 liked bouncy- the vibrating was god for a month- the rest was just a good place to keep DC while I did other things (shower etc.)- so "sophisticated" bouncy is not super necessary.. dc2 hated the bouncy- raised hips and refused to sit- that was a complete bust.. both kiddos did like (for a while) the exersaucer and loved the jumperoo.. I guess I'm saying just get a used bouncy- it's short lived- the others help keep them active before they walk..

I posted on this recently. DC really liked the Fisher Price Infant to Toddler rocker. Holds heavier children so you can use it as they get older.

I would definitely look for a used bouncy on Craigs List. You can get them very cheaply!
