If you strip away the crunchy facade of this, she was running an unregulated restaurant. She charged $75 a plate plus $25 for a wine pairing. She did this not as part of some charitable or social event.
She's getting wrapped around the axle about the details, but the bottom line is that if she runs a commercial restaurant she has to be regulated. |

I think you might be right.
I know of someone who would cook a whole weeks food for families. But to get around the regulations she would come to your house and cook it there with your ingredients |
