How long after weaning do your breasts reach their new normal size?

Anonymous
I'm about done breastfeeding. My breasts, once cute and perky, are now lopsided and saggy. I desperately need new bras but don't want to invest tons of money if they will continue to alter and shrink. At what point post-BFing did your breasts settle at their new size?

You know, it took a really long time, but after 10 months, mine are actually almost where they were before breastfeeding. After I weaned mine looked deflated-- saggy and... best word I can think of... "empty." I still think they are a little less perky, but I've definitely regained some volume which makes them look perkier. Not sure what advice to give about bras... but as for your breasts, don't give up hope.

Mine deflated as well but within about 1 year after weaning they gained back some volume and are pretty close to pre-pregnancy size and shape.

You should just get a bra or two now because it's hard to tell.

I'm not the OP but thanks to the others who posted. I have hope now that I'm not stuck with these saggy breasts forever.

I'd say a good year, though I've noticed that recently (I'm several years post partum), they're looking better. I think that might be because I'm doing more strength training (push ups, pull ups) to deal with perimenapause, and the added muscle in my chest is giving me volume.

I don't think these PP are the norm. I bf for 6 mo for both my children and was left by tiny, I mean so tiny when I lie down I see my entire breastbone, deflated water balloons. I am totally over it and have embraced the small chest, I am not a big person so it doesn't look weird
