Bloody show?

I am 39 weeks and I'm pretty sure I just had "bloody show"! Not sure if I'm having contractions or not, just lots of weird dull cramps in my lower back and lower abdomen. Does this mean I'll go into labor soon???

I had my bloody show the same day my water broke. Baby was born less than 24 hours later!

I had mine yesterday (39 weeks) and nothing but painful irregular contractions so far. I'm hoping it means labor isn't far away!

How much blood is involved in bloody show? Is there mucus too or just blood? I had a very small amount of dark spotting overnight two nights ago...never happened before or after. I've been having what I assume are braxton-hicks, very irregularly.

PP -- how far along are you?
My "bloody show" was really just the loss of my mucus plug, which happened in stages as my cervix dilated. It was mostly just mucus, but did notice some brown on the TP (very similar to my implantation spotting). This happened at 39 weeks.

22:25 here...I'm 38.5 weeks. It's been a few days since that happened now so I doubt it was anything. Doc's appt tomorrow will help verify either way.

I lost my plug at 38 or 39 weeks and got induced 10 days after my due date.
