Kates not complaining. She’s the type to marry for life and they made a love match- the fact that they are well suited is a part of that. She’s super devoted to her family and she is bearing it all with amazing grace and strength.

and then we pinky pledged that we’d be BFs F!!!

Critical thinking is important. This PR effort means nothing. It is saying he is still alive and no undergoing any treatment, doesn't mean that he is well.

He's well enough to host the Emperor and Empress of Japan in June.

June is the future, nothing in June has happened yet

No, I'm Kate's BFF, she tells me all her relationship secrets.

From my very limited experience with family members of that age, after diagnosis, facing the public would be out of the question

Not so fast. My mother has Stage IV pancreatic and has done very well on chemo and goes out in public all the time. She has lost all her hair, unlike Charles, and at her recent PET the chemo has shrunk all her tumors. Treatment is getting better all the time. Why does Charles still have a full head of hair?

Because that picture is probably from six months ago?

They specifically said it was taken 4/10 and named the photographer. They’re giving all the right info to keep clean from kp’s fumbles.

Tomorrow is the future. Tomorrow has not happened yet.

The real question mark is Will's absence, because he's completely healthy and their kids are back in school.

Is it known the kids are back in school? I haven’t seen anything actually confirming that

I’m sure the kids are at school. Part of the PR problem is they waited too long to tell them about the cancer because they were worried one would spill the beans. So they told them when they got off for a 3 week Easter break, then announced to the world.

So Will couldn’t do any work even when his kids didn’t know?

Any excuse works, really. Up until the cancer video the excuse was surgery recovery, then it rolled into cancer treatment. He’s been doing things one day a week which feels really low for normal people but it’s not far off from what he did last year. More people are aware of his schedule now because of the Kate situation.

+1. Last year, William took a 53-day summer break. https://www.express.co.uk/news/royal/1810471/prince-william-royal-engagements-work-harder

Which means we probably won't see much of him this summer, either. Whatever the state of Kate's health. He'll continue to put in one day a week for another month or two, and then he'll go out again.

Steve Jobs refused treatment

Here's the royal diary. https://www.royal.uk/media-centre/future-engagements

If you put in Prince William, and set the dates from now until the end of May, you'll see exactly 2 events, both on 4/30.

Is Kate really that ill?

A friend in the UK had chemo after a whipple procedure for pancreatic cancer and it was a kind that didn't affect her hair. She's still living 7 years later with no evidence of cancer.

They’re feeding stories to the tabloids that he’s doing things behind the scenes, working from home to be the best supporter for Kate. Unfortunately for both of them it looks really bad both ways. The Queen always said they needed to be seen to be believed. If this goes on too much longer people will realize that the sun still rises if William doesn’t spend 30 minutes with a charity once a week.

It probably wasn't chemo and was immunotherapy or radiation. But again we have no idea what he has or what his treatment is but it doesn't appear to be chemo becuase of the hair situation.

I agree, the WFH story is unconvincing. Most of us who work from home still have to go into the office 2-3 days a week. He has chauffeurs and helicopters at his disposal, his kids are in school, and as a wife I can assure you that Kate doesn't want him hanging around her bedside 24/7.
