Grit ?

I wouldn’t call someone who made his wife with cancer apologize on Twitter gutsy

+1. Grit is hilarious. He's long been considered notoriously thin-skinned and weak-willed.

Exactly. He also finds any excuse to take extended time off. The elders past retirement age in his family still outwork the Vacationing Prince

NP. +3 or 4. Grit is not doing as few engagements as he did last year. And this year he's still under 20 engagements, right?

If someone told me he's making omelettes for Kate, changing her bedpan, or is down on his knees playing dolls with Charlotte, I'd be super-impressed. But we all know he has staff and he's not doing any of that.

It’s funny you say that because in his work day yesterday he said something about cleaning his kids’ guinea pig cage.

He said that's usually the kids' job. Not his.

The real question mark is Will's absence, because he's completely healthy and their kids are back in school.

Is it known the kids are back in school? I haven’t seen anything actually confirming that

I’m sure the kids are at school. Part of the PR problem is they waited too long to tell them about the cancer because they were worried one would spill the beans. So they told them when they got off for a 3 week Easter break, then announced to the world.

Why?

It's been rumored for a while that Charles has pancreatic cancer which is usually very quick. William and Kate are aware that their role will be changing soon.

Fwiw, there are very recent olive branches passing back and forth between William and Harry. Do he might return - but it doesn't seem like it would be a good idea, for anyone z for him to do so. I guess we'll see.

That’s the point. If they hadn’t run them out of the county, H would be there and they could help out with the working royal duties, whatever the heck those are.
So many of their issues are self-made. Add in bad health luck and suddenly it’s near crisis

Neither H nor M are capable of being supportive of W and K. That was kind of the problem. Nothing has changed. H is still not capable of supporting his brother - and W is not capable of bending towards H.

There's no reason for them to come back and only problems if H does.

They’ll never come back now. Another self own problem of the firm and the rota

Harry's shortcomings are not the fault of the firm or the rota. How silly.

It the firm and the press who relentlessly attacked his wife. And they’re to blame. Now they find themselves very short on “working” royals.

Nobody misses them except their American fans.

Who said anything about missing them? That’s not the point. This thread is about the poor health of 2 “working” royals leave Will carrying a load. Karma.

And yet Will has shunned the load for months. Unless he's reading to Kate all day while he's holding her hand, it's hard to explain his absence.

Yet only Americans care.

Oh the Brits care. Read the Daily Mail comment sections. Many Brits are pretty cheesed off.

Those people are losers.

Oh OK. But you, posting on a DMV mom's website, are a winner. Got it.

If you think the best and brightest are posting on Daily Mail articles and that's the pulse of the nation, you are not very well informed.

I don’t think he wants to be king or takes any joy in public service. Maybe things might change now and he will be focused on cancer.

Not for nothing but Harry really found his passion with time in the army and taking care of injured veterans with his Invictus Games. I do think he and his spouse were generally more active and even during pregnancy were out working the future royals and it kinda looked bad . Hence, the tabloid stories

Royal experts noted this tidbit to bring it out in 15 years to talk about how irresponsible Louis is.

Don’t get me wrong there is a laundry list of things wrong with the Sussex, but work is not one of them. They always have a new thing going and don’t want or can live off the land . They would definitely get tagged as lazy if they had the same permanent less than part time schedule Kp royals had.

Right. Pancreatic cancer kills very quickly .
Steve Jobs, Patrick Swayze, Alex Trebek, Aretha Franklin

I remember thinking Trebek lived a long time considering his diagnosis.

They seem pretty lazy. Starting and not finishing things isn't very impressive.

Is her disappearance really due to cancer?

From my very limited experience with family members of that age, after diagnosis, facing the public would be out of the question

Not so fast. My mother has Stage IV pancreatic and has done very well on chemo and goes out in public all the time. She has lost all her hair, unlike Charles, and at her recent PET the chemo has shrunk all her tumors. Treatment is getting better all the time. Why does Charles still have a full head of hair?

Because that picture is probably from six months ago?

He was out and about at Easter sporting the same hair he's always had.
