Ovarian cysts?

Just got back from my IVF intake appt and on the ultrasound, they discovered a cyst on one of my ovaries. I've had at least two other ultrasounds and and hsg since my last regular menstrual cycle and nothing like this ever showed up before. I have been taking BCP as a part of the "down regulation" before beginning stim for my first round of IVF.
The nurse who did my ultrasound mentioned something about "we'll have to see what your estrogen levels are like." I don't have any pain, nothing.
Has anyone else ever had this? Did they cancel the cycle?

i had cysts after IUIs and had to take the month off each time. they went away on their own, but one month i used a home remedy -- castor oil pack. it seemed to have worked.
