I find it weird too, given how involved he is in the DMV and Tampa area. Could be as a media personality, he cashed in some favors for non coverage. Considering his is a d list celebrity, then no real loss by not covering it |

This was discussed earlier as an example of why some felt that it was a Kane Scam on the audience. Probably more likely that he's Z-list, even in the microcosm of the DMV. The marital situation of other more famous and beloved DC radio personalities were covered by local media. |

I think Kane has "characters" that he wants on his show... So John replaces Sammy... Danni replaces Sarah... Rose replaces mel. I like Sammy but I can't stand John... John is everything you would expect a frat boy still in college to be, I guess I've just outgrown that phase as I get closer to 30... |

i completely agree. and i know kane(Peter) reads this thread, and i know he can't get rid of John (especially since he kisses his(peter) ass so much) but its just not the same. if i were to give an advice to Peter, can you try editing IJ as less obnoxious n annoying as you can. |

My problem with John is that he talks a good game for someone chubby, short, a poor dresser and facially unattractive (and yes, I've heard the term "a face for radio") but his personality kind of stinks, as with most bros. He also seems to have zero recognition of the fact that the only reason girls are flocking to him is because he's on the radio, and seems to mistakenly think it's actually him they want. I'm not saying I can't appreciate a level of confidence, but just have some self-awareness bro. There were hobbits better looking than you. Kane may not be a model, but when he appears on NBC or "in public" I do think he works with what he's got. He's normally nicely dressed, and well groomed. |
