Plus he’s super tall and strong and will knock you out of their way if your damn camera gets too close.

Taylor is not from the Midwest. Also their accomplishments are not comparable.

She is way out of his league and I'm not even a fan. Also his brother -- gross. Can you imagine having a BIL like that? Low class. I predict she dumps Travis Kelce sooner rather than later. Also I'm pretty sure she's gay and he's her beard.

I don’t know- who’s dating Taylor swift? You are only as good as your options. Since breaking up with Joe, she dated a Matty Healey, who seems kind of slimy, and now the football player. It’s not like a list actors are lining up to date her. Maybe they’re intimidated, maybe they don’t want the drama or the attention/ego hit of being Mr. Taylor swift.

And I saw an old video of her where she said any relationship she has will be long distance even if she dates the literal boy next door because of her work, and that she'll be flying places to see him, and flying him places to see her. Even back then she knew that a. she'd be making the effort, and b. likely being in charge of getting him to her too.
She's gay. She gives off no sexual vibes to men.

I just don't see that at all about her. I don't think she's gay. I think she's probably the alpha in the relationship and that's a turn-off to most men. Maybe Travis likes that. I can see him needing a mother figure or someone who is the lead. I just don't get the vibe that she's into women.

It's not that she's the "alpha", its just that she's dated weak men, practically boys. She's finally dating a man. He's big. He's strong. He drinks beer. He plays a man's sport.

There's probably a part of her that wants to be the girly girl in a relationship. But for that happen, you need a macho guy. Her past dudes have been the opposite of macho

+1 She wrote that song all those years ago about sitting on the sidelines in her t-shirt and sneakers while the hot cheerleader gets the popular jock, and while I don't think this is what she wants long term, it's fun for her to be on the other side of it for once in her life.

She’s 34. It’s time to get over living out the high school fantasy. She’s Taylor swift and could have done that ten years ago. Actually, she did- she did used to date high profile people like Jake gyllenhaal and John Mayer. She just keeps dating the same types over and over. Travis is more of a jock and I just can’t see that working out for her long term from an intellectual/creative standpoint. She wrote songs with her ex boyfriend.

They are not macho, blue-collar, salt of the earth types. They may the most masculine of her past boyfriends, but that doesn't mean that they are actually masculine.

I'll give her some credit. The emotional artist types haven't worked for her. Worth trying something different

As someone who dated foreign or nerd types and then found Mr All American so charming and just perfect, maybe all those wrongs gave her perspective on who would be Mr Right. But anyway I think what’s most key with them is HE is crazy about HER. I think in the past she chased guys and sorry not sorry that just is never as good. Ask Simone Biles!

Taylor seems crazy about Travis and he seems crazy about all the attention he’s getting.

What makes Kelce masculine but not Jake Gyllenhaal? What's your definition of masculinity?

He didn’t seem proud to be with her and it was all about him. Travis has a huge career and will be markable after football and he is soooo proud of her. He is also old fashioned working on winning over her parents I wouldn’t be surprised if they got married

Travis treats Taylor like they’re buddies. It’s a one sided relationship like all of her past relationships.

Not everything has to be feminism 101.

I mean just look at them.

Yes obviously Jake G is very attractive but please.

I thought JG had a reputation for being sort of a slimeball. Kelce seems like a genuine, nice person, if a bit oafish.

There's a big difference between PRETENDING to play a sport where grown men hit each other and ACTUALLY playing a sport where grown men hit each other.

Jake is in no way a macho type of guy.
