Listrani's, when did they enact the child unfriendly policy?

I was at a kid's baseball game this past weekend at the Pallisades rec center. We manged to feed the kids but DH and I were looking for a bite to eat for lunch so we walked up to Listrani's on MacAurthur Blvd. We were taken aback by the screed posted in the window that they would no longer be hosting children's parties and reserve the right to remove groups with children from their establishment. We have always viewed this restaurant as very kid friendly and have attended many pre-reserved end of the season soccer or baseball parties there. Does anyone know what has happened to cause this change?

When it started to bother other customers because the kids were acting up and parents choose not to parent them and eat instead.
