| Yup, DC is one of the few areas in the country where making six figures doesn't make you feel that wealthy. I sometimes think of the lifestyle we'd have if we were able to make this salary back in our home state. The difference is mind boggling. But that's the trade off, of course; most of us can't make the money we do here where we come from. |
