Chevy Chase Reggio- thoughts?

Anonymous
Hi - we went to the open house for Chevy Chase Reggio yesterday. Does anyone have any thoughts? I did a search of the archives but did not see anything recent.

Would love your feedback!

Thanks

Uncommunicative at best.

Obstructionist at worst.

My child has been there for almost 3 years and I am starting a second child in January. Patricia, the Director, is a wonderful nurturing teacher and my son never wants to leave at the end of the day. Highly recommend it. The care is personalized and we just love the program.

My oldest son has been enrolled at Chevy Chase Reggio for almost 3 years and my second son now attends as well. My kids always come home from school happy and eager to tell me about their day. The director, Patricia, is great - smart, a good listener, and enthusiastic. I know my kids are safe and feel loved when they are at school.

I sent my child there for 1 1/2 years. It was warm and nurturing for 2-3 year olds. I felt there was less to occupy an older (pre-K) child.

Both of our children have been students at Chevy Chase Reggio for over a year now, and we couldn't be more thrilled with our experience. Every single day my children are greeted by warm, loving, talented teachers, and equally tremendous classmates who, across ages, languages, and cultures, come together to make CCR truly special.

The faculty members at Chevy Chase Reggio are easy to talk to, receptive to parents' ideas, and most importantly, they know and respect each child as an individual. I highly recommend this school.

Seemed more like a daycare than a school to us when we visited.

OP here - thank you for the comments. Could those of you that replied "horrible" or "obstructionist" elaborate? I am trying to gather as much information as possible.

Thanks

I felt they were more interested in money than in the kids.
