I don't know enough about the treatment of circus animals or the side effects of the bill to be for or against. But it seems a lot more complex than OP makes it. And "AKA MORON" certainly adds to the simplistic look of the posting. |
THIS is what our tax dollars go to making bills and debating this crap, what a waste of time. |
If the conditions of a circus are cruel, it should be stopped. I don't see what is moronic about that. We have animal cruelty laws for a reason. It's morally wrong. |
There's a ton of information online about abuses in the circus.
This is certainly a more important issue than reaffirming "In God We Trust" as the nation's motto. |
What is wrong with green technology? |
One word, "Solyndra." Green technology is currently a giant black hole that is swallowing western goverments money like Spain, and US faster than they can print it with little or no results to show for it. |
Thank heavens for Solyndra. Every conclusion will eventually find some evidence that seems to support it. |

Except for the Chinese. They seem to be making a killing off of their solar panels, and in the process drove Solyndra into the dirt. Maybe we should let them have the market. After all, how can America compete with communism? And Vestas, which is doing nicely selling wind turbines. I guess being third or fourth place is OK. Then there is brazil, which runs on 20% ethanol and no longer imports oil as a result. And Denmark, where 20% of electricity comes from wind farms. And Iceland, where almost all of their power is generated through geothermal or hydro and it may be possible to eliminate petroleum entirely. The lesson of Solyndra is not that green power fails. It is that we are not competitive with China. They are selling all of the panels they can make. |
That's a great batch of examples that you give there. Let's see, Danish electricity costs for the consumer are the highest in Europe. and one more,
If I lived on a big island that was basically just one big giant volcano with a geyser or hot spring located every few hundred meters or so I would be energy independent as well. |
I thought this thread was about the circus. |
Uh, I think you don't understand what's going on in Brazil, or you wouldn't have brought that up. |
This is too funny, Jim Moran from the commonwealth, also the commonwaelth that Feld Entertainment is headquarted........
Nothing like starting a fight with your neighbors. |
