Curious to know if the over 50s find this funny. I am 50 and I found it funny. I would do that to my kids, they have to know that I have the potential to trick them and that I could have eaten it and that I play games. No big deal. |
| I thought it was a riot. I would totally do something like that and when my kids figured out I was tricking them, they would think it's funny too. But then, in our family we play lots of practical jokes. |
| It was funny, but the last two brothers were just adorable! |
| I'm 50 and I thought it was funny (as did my teenagers, who already told me about it). My brother and I did something similar to our mom twice when we were teenagers. Once, after she had slaved over a beautiful batch of Christmas cookies, we hid them and left a few broken ones in the box to make it look like we'd eaten them all in one night. She fell for it, but luckily she was a good sport. Another time we hid her cigarettes. That one did not amuse her. (RIP, Mom -- she quit when she was 50 but died 10 years later of lung cancer). |
