Is it critical to use a bottle sterilizer for glass bottles? If so, then could you reccomend one for Born Free - do micro. ones work? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks. |
I am absolutely no help when it comes to your first question regarding the need for a sterilizer for glass bottles, but I do know that BornFree does make their own sterilizer that is supposed to fit their bottles well: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2766871. I don't think this is much help, but thought I would pass the link along. Good luck! |
I bought a sterilizer, but it was really not necessary. If you really feel like you need to sterilize for the first time, you can always boil water and dunk the bottle pieces in the boiling water. I just used the dishwasher. I would recommend getting a dishwasher container (I like the one by Munchkin) to keep the pieces from falling down in the dishwasher.
If you search on this topic, you will find several other recent posts that may be helpful. The general consensus seems to be that it is not necessary. |
Unless you are feeding your child in a third world undeveloped country consider a bottle sterilizer a waste of money. Hot soapy water or a run through the dishwasher is all you need.
Save the money and buy some thing more useful. |
Excellent. Thanks so much! |
