Where do you buy children's books?

Barnes and Noble.
But Amazon usually has better deals.If you see something you like there, you can always check and see if its cheaper on Amazon, if that matters. |

Barnes and Noble poster here. We do the library a lot as well - but we buy some books that are favorites (or they are gifted to us). That way they can be read as many times as possible and taken with us when we travel without worrying about losing or damaging a library book. As long as they are in good condition when we're done with them, we'll donate them. No big deal. A lot of bookstores are going out of business. Kind of sad, IMO. |

| Get them from the library or order from kids when fundraising. They have cheap books at marshals as well. That's where our doctor Seuss collection comes from. Also, my parents didn't save a lot from when I wAs a kid with the exception of books. The Disney books back then were amazing. See if your folks have any. |

| A lot of the standards can be found at TJ Maxx cheaper than on Amazon. I've picked up some good books at garage sales, where people often sell them for a quarter, but of course it's hit or miss. |

| Tjmaxx, marshals, and now book order through preschool....mostly paperback but you get like 3 for $10 when they would usually be like $5 each. |

I buy books at Curious Kids store in Ballston Mall (next to Macys) and B&N in Clarendon.
I go to the library too, but my toddler loves repetition and owning books is great for that. If there's a book he loves from the library, I then buy it on Amazon. |

| Another vote for TJ Maxx, Marshalls and Ross. You can find lots of books available in the bookstore there, though you might have to sift through a pile of junk. |
