I sing with a local women’s a cappella group, the Capital Accord Chorus. Are you a woman who likes to sing?

The Capital Accord Chorus announces its free popular Sing for the Holidays program. Our four-part harmony a cappella group invites you to join us for rehearsals and community holiday performances from November 15 - December 20. The repertoire includes songs in celebration of Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa as well as popular seasonal songs. Join us for the camaraderie of singing and the joy of sharing our voices with others.

Bumping to announce that the Sing for the Holidays program begins tomorrow night, Tuesday Nov. 15. We hope to see some DCUMs there!

I have what I'm told is a very nice alto voice, and enjoy singing, but I have no training. I know that the alto part is often a little tricky, technically. Is there training included, or would I have to know how to do harmony?
