Happy Halloween From the Liberal GOON Squad

Wow, a picture of a sitting president with a bullet in his head. I did not know Al Qaeda posts on DCUM.

Hey, this was an official email of the Loudoun County GOP.

The cartoon is dumb and wholly unnecessary, but I wonder if the outraged Obama supporters would have felt the same way if a similar cartoon was posted in the Bush years.

When MoveOn.org ran an advertisement mocking General Petraeus (satire only, no bullets in the head), both chambers of Congress passed resolutions to condemn MoveOn.org. In the Senate, even Hillary Clinton voted in favor of the resolution. I doubt we will see Congressional action in this instance.

Republicans attempting to paint moral equivalency here would do well to ensure apples to apples comparison -- some unshaven protester reeking of patchouli holding a sign does not compare to the Republican Committee of a county of 400k people that has the highest household income in the country. Moveon.org, though, does.

Yes, we would be outraged. We have not forgotten Kennedy. This goes beyond politics.

At least we now know there is an audience for this.

The MoveOn thing was stupid, but it had a specific point, criticizing what they felt was politicized testimony by a sitting general. This is just stupid, with no point other than childish "humor".

History has shown that the same outrage would not have been shown by the left as it relates to Bush. I have never seen any moral outrage at the potshots at Bush no matter how inappropriate they were/are. I am not defending the cartoon, but there is most definitely a double standard concerning what is acceptable when it comes to the left vs the right.

Every couple of weeks someone drops BS like that here (maybe it's always you), someone challenges the poster to provide examples, and the poster strikes out. Instead of reading or actually listening to what is said, you rely on Faux's ridiculous, fear-mongering perversions of those statements. The right leadership works hard to convince you that everyone's as vicious and dishonest as they are, and you eat it right up.

FWIW, I have no problem with the email. I don't thing the Obama image was meant to suggest assassination any more than it was meant to incite someone to bite his ear off. I think the crowd scene is funny. It's a Halloween-themed joke.

Liberals would not have stooped to this lowest level of morality. This picture depicts EXACTLY of what think about Republicans - self centered pigs with little morality. Racists, hypocrits, demoralizing - they're destroying America with their out of touch policies. Who WRECKED our economy in 2008?

If Obama came up with a cure for cancer tomorrow, for all types of cancers, it would be below these bottom feeders to acknowledge and give him thanks. They're so jealous they lost the 2008 election- they've become the party of HATE.
