DRA 2 in kindergarten FCPS

Do any schools in FCPS ever test kids with the DRA 2 verses the DRA 2 word analysis if they do very well on the word analysis in the fall? I've heard that some neighboring school districts will do this in both the fall and spring.

At our school, children who score a perfect 193 were given the dra.

Be forewarned that doesn't do much good for kids who are a couple grade levels ahead in reading. They will not test your child past the end of the next year. (won't test past 16 in k, 28 in 1st, etc) So, you will never know your kids true reading level.
