Two of Ben's daughters are on the honeymoon with their Dad and J Lo in Paris.

Jen G put lived with an addict not in recovery for years. That is a very, very rough lifestyle and very hard on families. She got over Ben years ago.

J Lo is not a gold digger. She is family oriented. She leads a healthy lifestyle. Ben could have hooked up with a bimbo in her 20's who wanted more children.

Hopefully Ben is working a strong recovery program and can stay sober for decades. It is not a picnic to be married to a former addict.

Listen, freak J.Lo-Stan, literally NOBODY is saying Garner was meant to be his one true love. All they're saying is that she's clearly a better person than J. Lo but if Ben thinks that's boring and lame and wants to live the glamorous Hollywood life, then obviously she's not the right person for him. Sucks to be his kids, though, either way - wouldn't want to be the child of parents in a horrible marriage, and wouldn't want to be the child of a dad who's chasing his ex-girlfriend/new wife all over the world.

I remember later in his Garner marriage, someone asked Ben how it was going and he whined "it's going...Ben, pick up the children...Ben, pick up the dry cleaning..." Her efforts to keep her family grounded made her a bore and a nag to him. JLo is a better match in the desire to "live large" and outsource all practical things. Although I think that high level of maintenance is exhausting, they have plenty of money and seem in sync about it so... Until she becomes a bore and a nag, they might be okay for a while.

Seriously, how can anyone who doesn't know BOTH of them personally know that?

Garner was married to Scott Foley, who seems to have been a decent guy. They were in Felicity together. She dumped him for Michael Vartan, her co-star in Alien. She dumped Vartan for Affleck. She was pregnant when she married Affleck and back then the tabloid rumors were that was why he married her. Having grown up without a father most of his life, Affleck didn't want that for his kids.

So, I don't know what went on any more than anyone else, but I don't start with the premise that Garner would have been more successful in creating a good relationship if she'd just picked someone who wasn't an addict.
