My sister in law's father died alone in a hospital because there wasn't enough PPE for her to sit with him when he was sick with COVID.

Reality is, nobody knows what will happen. COVID is unpredictable, plus those experimental treatments could be really great, or they could cause some crazy side effect tomorrow.

I wish he had gotten ill enough to not be able to go around saying it's no big deal, but I'm sure he'll be fine. There is a reasonably high probability that he has been sick all along, and what we saw this weekend was the 7-10 day 'danger zone' worsening of symptoms.

I think there is a decent chance he has it and that he’s going to be fine. In terms of democracy, I think that’s better. He can get trounced at the polls, be held accountable for his crimes and not be some kind of martyr for the right.
