Stoddert Elementary - feedback from current parents

We just moved into the area and our designated elementary school is Stoddert. Our DS will be going into first grade next fall, and we were hoping to get some feedback from current parents regarding the quality of the education their children are getting, pluses, minuses, etc. It seems the only info I can find on here is from a few years ago. Also, the big thing many posts talk about is Stoddert soccer and our child doesn't play, so that wouldn't be a selling point for us. Can any current parents share their thoughts and experiences with the school? Thanks in advance for the time and information.

stoddert elementary and stoddert soccer are not related. just fyi. stoddert soccer is a city wide league that just happens to have the same name.

Start with going to the open houses that are being held now.

Better yet, check out the school's website and attend a PTA meeting or other organized school event to meet and talk to parents. Or just be at the school during drop- off or pick-up to observe and chat with parents. Don't depend on this blog!
