Does anyone know of any Christian colleges with good reputations? My daughter is 16 and is very reserved. She thrives once she gets to know people and ever since we started attending church 3 years ago, she loves being in environments where there is a focus on God. I want to encourage her as best as I can.
She will either major in science (pre-med) or Animation. TIA!! |
| Looking for any particular Christian church? Catholic, Protestant? |
| www.collegeconfidential.com is a good source for college info. They have a section for Christian Colleges. |
| Grove City (www.gcc.edu) in Grove City PA. About 4 hours away. |
|
In addition to Grove City there is also Wheaton (IL) and Calvin (MI). All good schools.

I'm a Messiah College grad and really appreciate my education there. My friends and I all went on to top-ranked grad programs in our fields. Great science programs and grads go on to good med schools. They also have a well-respected art program, though I don't know about animation in particular. Many art students spend time at their campus at Temple and take advantage of other majors offered there.
Check out the Council on Christian Colleges and Universities to learn about other schools. Some of the West Coast ones (like Westmont) might offer more in the way of animation. |
| I've heard great things about Eastern in PA |
| College of the Ozarks is Christian and is free. |
| Davidson College is the top of the top! Very underrated. |
| Pepperdine |
| Are you looking more evangelical/conservative, mainline protestant, Jesuit or Catholic? |
If animation then go somewhere in California like Pepperdine! |
| 100% Pepperdine! Beautiful Location, Dry Campus, Christian |
| Do these Christian colleges teach evolution? A school that doesn't wouldn't be a great place for a bio/pre-med education. |
| Gordon College is in a beautiful area of Massachusetts; it has happy kids, a nice community, and a great education. |
