I currently work full-time and may take a new job that is full-time. My 3 year old son is currently in daycare full-time and I'm trying to figure out how we would change his care. Do part-time pre-schools ever accept students mid-school year? I'm talking about programs that are not day-care based but more school-based, if that makes sense.
thanks. |
| You can check in with individual schools about whether you can get on a wait list. In the unlikely case that someone moves or leaves midyear, you might get a spot. |
| Evergreen Montessori in Wheaton. We have been very happy there. |

PP here. I am assuming part time means half day programs.
? |
| I don't know about part-time programs specifically, but I'd assume that some do. we're in a program that accepted our daugter in June. |
| Are you close to Rockville? http://www.rcnscoop.org/ |
| Most church-based preschools I know of will accept new students as long as they have openings. It never hurts to call and ask; this is such a transient area that there are always students moving out of the area. |
| Chevy Chase Reggio accepts students mid-year. CCR has two enrollment terms, one for September to February, and the other March through August. If interested in a tour, we have an open house on Saturday November 5 at 10 am to 1 pm. For more information, email Info@ChevyChaseReggio.com. |
