need fall vegetarian finger food ideas, easy as possible

My mother in law doesn't cook. She's great at buying things and making them look pretty though. Thinking about easy off the shelf stuff from Whole Foods and Trader Joe's, can you think of things that are good for a fall event? Vegetarian is a must. Thanks!

TJs has great cheeses, there is a cranberry covered goat cheese log that is always a big hit for a platter of cheese, cracker, fruit.

Wheel of brie, slathered in apricot preserves and nuts if you like them, wrapped in pie crust/phyllo/crescent roll dough and baked till it's brown.

Yummy.

quesadillas are easy. can make just plain cheese, or with veggies, sauces; salsa and guacamole to dip.

hummus and pita bread, TJs has other bean dips, their white bean hummus is a nice twist on hummus, tastes more italian.

Roasted asparagus is always good (and easy), and you can make endive boats and fill them with pretty much anything. I fall I like to do a nice Roquefort, mandarin orange slices, and pecans.

Whole Foods has a Dalmatian fig spread in the cheese section that is delicious with goat cheese.

Nuts would be a nice addition to a cheese plate - I really like salted pistachios that are already shelled.
