please recommend your natural shampoo and conditioner

I was looking at the brands in Whole Foods, but reluctant to make the investment on such large bottles without some guidance. I've been using Dove shampoo/conditioner along with some salon brands for years. Trying to get the chemicals out of our lives and grooming products is a huge source.

I have fine hair that can get oily, but can also dry out (ends), so need a good daily conditioner.

Davines--organic, zero carbon footprint and it smells unbelievable, like "get stopped in the street every time I get a blowout" unbelievable. One80 Salon on K Street carries it.

I used to use Aveda and now use whatever is on sale at Whole Foods - usually Giovanni. I find that a bottle of the conditioner lasts me a very long time.

Aubrey Organics is great. I love the Honeysuckle Rose shampoo and conditioner. It smells wonderful and leaves my hair so soft.

Also Jason and Kiss My Face products... they both work well.

Burt's Bees Super Shiny is great. Inexpensive and leaves my hair shiny and soft.

I have pretty curly hair and have had a hard time finding a product that works for me. I actually found one when I was in Harpers Ferry. It's called Onesta (or something like that). Not cheap, but my hair was left silky soft after using it. Like, no tangles...and not many natural products can do that when it comes to curls!

Aveda. We also buy the store brand at Whole Foods (365) for my DD and it's good too.

Also use the EWG's skin deep database to help guide you. Some "natural" products are still bad for you
