That Chicken Place on Leesburg Pike in Falls Church (FX county). Best in the area. It was the original Edy's and its where we go when we want pollo.

Pollo Rico is great.

Super Pollo on Quincy in Arlington (reopened recently) has great spinach - clearly the local Pakistanis have been having a good effect on their choices, because they also have chole.

Edys is also great. Does The Chicken Place use her Thai-influenced recipe?

What about best recommendations for Montgomery County, MD?

I don't know if they use the Thai recipe at The Chicken Place but I do know that I am CRAVING it now. 1/4 white meat...fried yucca...horchata and tons of that green chile sauce? I know what I am having for dinner!

Sardi's in Gaithersburg. My husband is Peruvian and he LOVES that place!

Super Pollo!!!
So freaking good. There is one in Ballston and one on Wilson Blvd. just past the intersection of George Mason.

There's also El Pollo Rico on a side street between Fairfax and Wilson, not sure of the street, but I'm sure you can look it up. It's by Carvel.

That place is amazing....it is like chicken crack and I don't particularly love chicken.

POLLO RICO! POLLO RICO! POLLO RICO!

Oh my god, I already had dinner, and now I want a second dinner of delicious, delicious, chicken. It's near the VA Square Metro on the Orange Line.

I should warn you: my family visited from out of town and we got El Pollo Rico for a picnic, and they will NOT SHUT UP ABOUT IT. It's all they ever want to eat when they come in town to visit.

There are a ton of places in MoCo. I'm in Bethesda so I like Chicken on the Run. IIRC there is a long thread on chowhound comparing all the different peruvian chicken places.
