FISA vote

I'm deeply disappointed in Obama's FISA vote. He joined the Republicans in this vote. Majority Leader Reid voted against it, as did Senator Clinton.

I am also disappointed and will make no further financial contributions to Obama's campaign as a result. I'll probably donate the funds that would have gone to Obama to the ACLU to support their lawsuit regarding the bill.

Jeff,

Just curious are you beginning to have doubts about Obama? A few of your post suggest that?

No candidate is going to be perfect and Obama is no exception. I still support him and I am not having second thoughts about that support. However, there are limits on what I will accept from him. Despite the apparent beliefs of some here, my support is not mindless. When his actions are contrary to my expectations, I won't be shy about pointing it out.

Thank - you for clarifying Jeff. I agree we should hold him accountable and questions his decisions if we believe they are not in the best interest of the American people. I truly believe this should be the standard for all politicians.
