Trump administration guidelines
The three sentences to get you through life: Number 1 ‘Cover for me.’ Number 2 ‘Oh, good idea, boss!’ Number 3 ‘It was like that when I got here.’” |
| Don't have time to pour through the whole thread, but this is such a non-story. Not a Trump fan, but how is the President responsible for this? |
|
His campaign didn't provide proper transportation for his fans. |
Why do you keep peddling this fiction about “40 bus drivers”? No one abandoned anyone, they weren’t able to get the buses up the road in a timely manner because of the way the road was situated. Stop lying about the bus drivers. DP |
LOL so it was like that when I got there? |
DP, but it was 100% a failure in planning and logistics by the Trump campaign. There wasn't a bus drivers' strike. There were not enough buses and they couldn't get back to the crowd to pick people up because of all the people walking on the road. It was a stupid site for a rally with one narrow road in and out. It is also Trump's fault for wanting his rallies at the airport so he can have Air Force One in the background and can leave immediately. |
It was being reported that the fly was in the ICU with Covid, but I think Trump's team managed to get that story squashed before it got out. |
That's not what the local paper said. |
So you're saying that the owner of the bus rental agency that left when they were not paid as scheduled was lying? Was a plant? Trump's campaign has a reputation for stiffing many vendors. There are many businesses that have provided services for this campaign and not been paid, so now vendors are requiring the Trump campaign to pay up front before services and not completing services if they are not paid. This campaign has lost any credibility and trust that was given to them and they have only themselves to blame. There were multiple bus rental companies. Some stayed despite not being paid. One did not. So there were fewer busses available to shuttle people back to their cars after the event. Had the campaign paid all of the vendors on schedule as they promised, there would have been more busses and it would not have taken 3 hours to shuttle all of the attendees back to their cars and there would likely have been fewer health problems amongst the ralliers. |
Yes it is not trump’s fault. Nothing is trump’s fault. Oh I know it’s Obama’s fault. Obama should have planned better for trump’s incompetence. |
+1 And Biden is up in the polls even without the death rallies, including in red states like TX, AZ, NC.. Biden could hole up in his basement till Nov 3 and not lose support. |
The buses weren't all hired to stay past 8pm. The rally ended at 9. All the articles say that the police had to enlist airport shuttles to transport people back to their cars. If the Trump campaign hired enough buses for the return trip and the delay was just a matter of traffic on a narrow road, why the need for airport shuttles? Think, people! |
