“Ugly” celebrities you’re attracted to?

Not sure he swings for our side though.

Agree on Adam Driver but with him it was only after I'd seen him in several things where his acting one me over. There is a little indie film called Paterson where he plays a bus driver who writes poetry and I have loved him since that. I hated him in Girls and did not find him remotely attractive in that show.

Jeremy Allen White, though I know some people would say he's attractive because of his piercing blue eyes but he has a "rough" looking face that shouldn't be hot and yet it is. His hair always looks greasy. I'd put Daniel Craig in this category too. They both look like someone broke their noses and they have protruding eyes and yet somehow it works, I don't get it.

I have this theory though that men who have physical flaws/imperfections have better personalities because they can't get by on just being hot. Occasionally very handsome men have great personalities (Channing Tatum, for instance) but often they are boring, dumb, or unbearably full of themselves. If you're very unlucky, all three. Men with more interesting looks tend to put more effort into their personalties and in the end, that's worth so much more than looks when it comes to longterm relationships.

Some people have compared him to Gene Wilder, which is nuts. He has great bone structure, very attractive imo. But after learning that he calls the paps to take pictures of him, I am no longer attracted 👎

I liked Joaquin back when he was Leaf. Space Camp ftw 🙌

The late great James Gandolfini was weirdly sexy as Tony Soprano

I’ve wanted to bang the sh*t out of Adrien Brody for years. (You get to see him in his underwear for about 5 full minutes in Summer if Sam.)

Here’s one for you: Michael Cera

Tim Curry was Dr Frank N. Furter - of course he's sexy!!

I don't think any of the people on this thread so far have been "ugly" by any stretch - except I guess Jared, who is just so smooth and shiny and weird. He looks like he's made of plastic.

How hideous!

I think just carefree late 20s with good metabolism vs. in over his head late 30s and slower metabolism and lower T. Maybe, maybe botox and a nip/tuck because he's probably a closeted gay man? I've always assumed he was gay. His obsession with fame and zero sexual energy between he and Ivanka.

The only thing I find even remotely warm and fuzzy about them is that the two of them seem to have a genuinely companionable relationship. A lot of the other couples in that orbit seem so weird and transactional - and for all I know Javanka is, too, but they do seem to actually like each other.

He looks less sexual than a Ken doll, that said.

Oh my gosh I think about this movie all the time still! I was so young when it came out - but to this day I feel sort of haunted and liberated by the choices that the real guy and his robot clone made.

I love that guy and also find him very appealing - finally a choice befitting the assignment.

I'd put Jermaine Clement in that category, too, so kudos to my fellow FOTC fan. His co-star Bret McKenzie was simply beautiful. Not sexy, though!

No one will say Chris Christie. Lol.

The Mike Pompeo comment made me think of him. Just, no one is going to put Chris up here.

I'd hit that if he lost a few (200) lbs! He was pretty hot when he was young.

why did you do that to me

i think i might actually just want to eff that sweater though - what a good sweater

Harrison Ford is ugly?

If Harrison Ford is ugly/not conventionally handsome then how do you classify other men? Are they monsters or something?

Serious question to the poster who wrote that: Are you blind? Are you using braille or some other technology to communicate here? What the !?!!?

I suspect with a lot of these, the person claiming the celebrity is "ugly" is a way of telling themselves that THEY have a special relationship with that celeb that other people just wouldn't understand. (Not consciously - but we all have these weird parasocial relationships, and I think thinking that you alone really appreciate the celeb can be part of it.)
