This is the PP who asked about the puppy. I actually did get a puppy but not the one I was hoping for. I know that these "readings" can seem vague and many people don't believe them. But I don't see the harm. And one thing you said a year or so ago about my father (who had passed away) was spot on.

I didn't understand the rest of this post at the time and thought it might be about work -- the fiery and intense situation. Which is not pleasant for sure. But my marriage is suffering greatly from alcoholism, and the puppy has brought me happiness I haven't had in years, and I do truly feel more centered and stronger.

Anyway, thank you. I personally feel that some can connect with power or feelings or spirits in ways we can't understand. But even if these posts do nothing but help me meditate and work through current challenges, they are very helpful. Thank you again.

You are most welcome. You are very right. Often I can share what I see when I look. It does not come from mind, the question or the answer. So when one interprets the answer solely with their mind it doesn't work so great. But so long as a part of you can feel it in your soul, consider it an alignment of sorts. That you are providing for yourself through the assistance of another, through whom which you feel a sense of comfort or trust. It doesn't have to make sense in your mind. Sometimes we also can become aware of why we ask, and further step in to connecting with our own highest self.

I have someone who every so often is there to give me a little guidance in my journey. Truly sometimes there really is just a peace in reaching to another who has walked the walk for support.

The thing is the trust. Trust in self. When we open to the insight of another, of a wider sense of our life, we trust their ethics and intentions in using their gift. The gift could belong to any of us and one who can feel and read spirit in a way that is meaningful often has spent a lot of time on connection and growth and overcoming the challenges they chose to come into this lifetime with. There is a lot of responsibility that comes with it. And an understanding and commitment of not taking a position of directing decisions of others or forming a dependency or sense of power or control. Only to share what I see in a conscious manner, and for me to do so only when I am experiencing clarity in my own path.xo

So you are very right in how this all feels to you and how lovely to find this companion to bring more happiness into your journey.

Dear SR,

I wrote you about my pain, and shared with me that I was in the void and to look within. It initially felt like a riddle, but as I thought about it it was all so clear. I learned what that meant and I am still exploring the depth of where it can go. I just want to thank you again for that. It has provided a lot of peace as I’ve been transitioning.

Do you think there is anything to seeing images and color when I close my eyes? I used to see patterns but now they are clear images, sometimes people sometimes what looks like a process, sometimes a landscape.
