It sounds crazy but it looked great.

I like how her mask coordinates with her outfit.

Her mask coordination game is stronger than any one I’ve seen, not just in DC.

I love that necklace.

I liked Pelosi's jacket/necklace combo last night, although some might say the print was too busy, I thought the colors were soft enough to be distracting. Harris's suit was good, but I didn't think the color of her shell was doing much for her.

*to NOT be distracting.

I don't find the print distracting, but it looks like the type of fabric I'd except on the upholstery of a wealthy elderly woman's house.

What was the silver thing in front of her on the podium? (That was a bit distracting -- I kept trying to figure out what it was.)

She looks amazing and is a shining example of great cosmetic work. That’s hard to come by, no matter how much money you have (witness how many actresses go way overboard with procedures as they age and it looks awful).

I thought they both looked fantastic - though my brother texted me during the speech to say he thought Pelosi's shoulder pads looked like a costume from Working Girl

I disagreed

I wonder if she had to have an eye lift recently -- my mom had to have one at her age because the eye lid sag was starting to block her vision. If you compare her picture to even a couple of years ago, she had a much more natural look.

She’s had more than an eye lift and more than once. She’s had a ton of work.

I can’t stand her, but I do like her wardrobe.

Just revitalizing this thread to say,
whether or not it was a good idea to antagonize China right now, at least she looks great doing it.
Can only find embedded video, but looks like a silk, carnation-pink pantsuit.

Love her clothes, but also her fantastic jewelry pieces that never go out of style. Wish Jill and Hillary would take notes.

Agree with the others.
I'm not a fan but she looks fantastic.

She must get weekly hair color. She has no grays and never shows ANY root growth, despite having brown hair and being 82. It has to be at least weekly as she never, ever shows even a millimeter of grey.

And it's not single process color. She has highlights. This is just amazing upkeep. She must have a 4 hour block of "hair maintenance" built into her schedule each and every week.

At least pre-pandemic, I don't know any more, she went to George salon at the Four Seasons.

I find her very disingenuous and don't like her. But I have to agree, she dresses very well for an older Congresswoman, hair looks good, face looks great for her age, weight great. Looks very polished. Maybe that's her Italian shining through, along with the hand gesturing.

No. She dresses fine, but it's not stand out. But AOC in Pelosis outfits would look odd, they are for older woman. Her jackets and chunky necklaces or scarfs.

In honor of Pelosi's announcement she will not run for a leadership position, here is a look back at an oldie but goodie:
