I have three AADegree, 2 bachelor degree, finishing my 3rd Master degree and accepted into law school for next year and I am 57 years old and started up my own business and now having those master degree (MBA, MST, MSLaw) allowed me to run a successful business and. Ow I am attending a law school online so that I can provide both taxation and immigration services at federal level and as long as you pass the bar in California by attending law school, you can practice at those federal level services.

If I can do it. And I am pretty stupid, then you can do it. And know with each degree , you realize how stupid you were and you will recognize your inner darkness and how each class is like a candle of light shining through your darkness within and brightens you . Go to school and challenge your self and you will see the power of being wealthy within .

Good luck,

If not, you would absolutely be crazy to do so.

Wising you well though, OP!

Yes. Crazy. No one will be interested in hiring you at your age, by the time you graduate.

OP is probably dead by now anyway.

I can afford in-state tuition at local, not very prestigious law school, but would it be worth it to start now? I'd be almost 60 when finished -- what then? I took the practice LSAT and did very well on it, FWIW. I've always been interested in law and politics. I am healthy and hope to work into my 70s. Is this just a crazy idea? Will it be a waste of time/money? BTW, no one wants to hire me in my old field. I'm too old, skills too rusty. Age discrimination is alive and very well.

Sure, if it’s an academic exercise. If you’re doing this to get a job then let this dream die.

Do it, OP! You only have one life. If you’ve always wanted to do it and have a supportive partner/co-parent… go for it!

I have several middle-aged friends with law degrees who are unemployed so, no, don’t tell recommend. Too much competition and ageism is real.

When I was in law school one of my classmates was a retired neurologist taking classes to stay sharp. Really interesting guy.
