There is absolutely nothing that this woman would not do for publicity. She has no bruises, or has shown none, where She was tied up and "thrown" into a bathtub. Throwing someone into a tub would probably knock them out. This must have been the gang that couldn't tie a knot if she managed, almost immediately, to work her hands free. It was also noted that she was sleeping only in a robe. Why is this even remotely important? This "gang" spoke only French except for screaming for her "ring"? I am not a New Yorker but I know a con. |
+1 Well said. |
+1 My first thought. |
Completely agree |
Well, they were French . Their getaway vehicles were bicycles.
|
As in on the 'hoax'??? |
This. OR IT WAS TOTALLY FAKE!!!! |
It states that she was placed in the tub not thrown.
Why is it crazy that they don't speak English but knew the word 'ring' which is exactly what they were coming for? |
| Although it may be true, my gut reaction is that this is a publicity stunt. I can't get mayself to believe this wasn't somehow staged. |
| Why weren't her kids in the apartment with her in the wee hours of the morning? |
| You people are CRAZY. |
| How did she untie herself? Where was her friend? |
Really? Maybe the "thieves" are a product of someone's overactive imagination? |
Jesus there is no hint of this in any of the media coverage. If this was the case it would be coming out. I can't even imagine what kind of person would hate some random celebrity enough to want to think they staged a traumatic event than feel an ounce of sympathy for them. |
Yeah, if this is true, it's super fishy. I assume this fancy mansion where the rich and famous stay has at least as many cameras as my own house. (If not, that is some seriously horrible security.) It would be really hard to avoid our cameras and virtually impossible without inside knowledge. |
