Sidwell Basketball Article

Saw Sidwell beat St. Albans in a very close game on Saturday. They do have some good players, and not just the player featured in the Post article (although he was definitely a cut above all other players on the court from either team). It was a nice sporting event -- well played, good sportsmanship by both sides, enthusiastic but well-behaved crowd.

Wait ... what makes you think this thread has anything to do with basketball?!?!? If you want to post off-topic, please start a new thread so people don't get confused! Now ... back to the bickering.

Given your winky face, I think you share my feeling that it's time to move on to something happy. Something there might even be an answer to, that we can all agree on

Sidwell won a game? In a sport? Wow.

Well, I've seen Sidwell boys play St. Albans in three sports this year -- soccer, wrestling, and basketball -- and they tied in soccer (the game I was at -- STA beat them in the city tournament) and beat STA in wrestling and basketball. After seeing them in basketball I looked up their record and they were 14-0 and had beaten Georgetown Prep and Landon (two IAC teams) in addition to St. Albans. So, merely speaking as a Wisconsin Avenue sporting neighbor of Sidwell, I'd suggest your sarcasm is a little silly.
