I doubt that any conservative student or professor would go near Columbia, and it is hard for a school to call itself elite when it is an echo chamber for just one viewpoint. The perception of the Ivy league has changed a lot in the last few years, not for the better, and it is a valid question what value an Ivy league degree will carry in a decade or two.
