The issue is state schools are now much more desirable. This means that average kids really don’t have a chance. In state kids still go there but they are much stronger students than they were years ago. Your kid now has to have much stronger stats than you did. And by this I don’t just mean a higher GPA. You have to have a high GPA and be near the top of your class. |
