Barron Trump college

Anonymous
My guess is NYU (he grew up in NY) or U Penn where his step siblings went. Ideally to some school in EU under another name and where no one knows him. Whatever his father is, he is still a kid.

That would be great for election cycle. He can always transfer next year.

My guess, and I could be wrong, is that he’s over 18 now so it will not be shut down like it was when he was a minor.

Didn’t he graduate from St. Andrew’s Episcipal school? That’s not a sped school and plenty of their students do well after graduation. I’m not a fan of the school but lets be real….

SAeS does do well with some kids on spectrum or adhd, and it’s speculated they chose that instead of at Allan’s or sidwell due to some SN. But neither of those constitutions would indicate that his academic/cognitive skills are lacking.

They left DC after Trumps term - so did not graduate from SAES. While you are correct going to SAES doesn't imply having special needs, there were needs at the time of application. There were other DMV schools that denied admission because their school was not set up to meet his academic needs at the time and the schools were not on board with allowing parents to pay to bring in extra support needed to "make it work". I'm glad his mom and these schools are all looking out for his best interests. It's been many years since this happened, so none of this says anything about his current needs.

In NYC he went to Columbia Prep which is not considered to be top tier in NYC and well below Buckley and Trinity where his brothers went.

This is consistent with Melania's choice of SAES. Finding a school that is a good match versus plowing forward with a prestige or bust approach.

Those days are long past. If he can use this opportunity for himself, he will. It will be a school in FL or wherever Melanie wants to live

That's what I'm saying. Put your money with your mouth is. Why not UofFL? Not good enough? Only the elite schools in coastal blue states are good enough from Trump kids?

Kid will only go someplace that can be called elite. UF could be it. But most of the others on here will not be it.

Within Florida, UF is considered pretty elite and bonus with Sasse being president. The only reason why I think that Barron will not attend UF is that it is a public school (so it would be the same reason why places like UVA, Michigan and Berkeley wouldn't be in the running either). I think that he will be at Penn or Georgetown. Georgetown is more likely because it will be closer to the White House when Trump is back in during the fall (so easier to keep an eye on Barron).

Don’t even jest.

Questionable judgment marrying and sticking by Trump, but she’s made some good decisions to protect her kid.

What should she have done instead to get $100M or so?

Barron has half siblings NOT step siblings!

Barron is the only likable person in that family. I feel sorry for him too. I hope he is happy wherever he goes.

Why do people keep calling them step siblings? They are his half siblings. They have the same father.

No one is obsessed. Trump wants it both ways. He brags endlessly about Ivanka and how brilliant she is and how great don Jr is. We had to endure Ivanka and her dimwitted husband be given jobs they had zero qualifications. The silence around poor Barron is deafening. I feel bad for him and he’s lucky he has his mother and her parents to be there for him.

Barron seems like a good kid, at least for now. I wish him the best. I think many people are just curious where he will be going this fall since he just graduated high school. A gap year probably would be good for him.

I could see how he would need a good sense of humor.

I thought at least one of the older brothers went to The Hill School in Pottstown, PA. Was that later?

I thought both Trump boys went to Hill?
