I don't think she's trying to curry favor with or earn the respect of people who expect "classy and polished". It's the ultimate flex to be able to show up exactly how she wants at the White House, not care what people think about it, and know the invitations will come again regardless.

I posted up thread that I appreciate the fact Sanchez doesn’t cosplay “old money” like the Chevy Chase women at my kids’ school. Sanchez does try to be something she’s not. I just don’t care what she decided to wear. She lived in Hollywood and now Miami, not Washington DC.

As a former very large breasted woman (I had a breast reduction, thankfully) I think about the reality that she is meeting and talking with various other couples during the evening and simultaneously nearly completely exposing herself to other women and their husbands while doing so. It is so bizarre and deeply embarrassing to so many of us. Like a pp, I too am embarrassed for her because she is so lacking in self awareness and appropriateness. Eh...maybe she's free of him and she's loaded but she also had a quicky marriage everyone on DCUM was thrilled about that ended in under two years, so "best" is probably relative. I feel nothing for either of these two but MacKenzie actually had a less stable post divorce life than Jeff, which is not ideal.
