I also remember the media covering stuff like this for maximum one day. No matter how big an issue, Trump would get coverage, not even negative coverage, just “coverage,” for a day and then the story was politely excused.

I remember Republicans explaining away this type of thing too. How it was the fault of people being offended, not Trump for being offensive. How it wasn’t a big deal.

In the case of international stuff, how the stupid and offensive way Turnip did things was the better way.
