Like maybe Kelce himself can't offer her much, but the people who are invested in his success might have something to offer her.

OMG this is totally it. And she's going to tease out some sort of partnership with the NFL for the next 1.5 years for a stupid amount of money.

Halftime show isn’t high status anymore, so I doubt she really cares about that. Frankly, Usher is a washed up nobody. But I agree, this is all clearly in some sort of long term partnership with NFL and presumably Fox. She would get a stupid amount of money in a multi-year deal to try to get younger women watching football. NFL generated $20 billion last year. They can casually cut her a $100+ million check to better appeal to young women and moms.

She probably was flattered that he publicly asked for her number, and decided to go to his game for fun. I don’t understand why people assume she must have been compensated.

There’s no PR reason for this. She doesn’t need any help from him or the NFL to sell out stadiums and smash music records. I don’t think he needs her either to be successful. Of course the NFL is going to post about Taylor — pro socials are often run by women and chances are good that they’re swifties.

This. I don't think it's fake on his end. I think he had a harmless crush on an international superstar and decided to play it up. He's cute & kind of charming & it presented a nice opportunity for continued buzz, so she decided to go with it. I'm sure she's having fun. Nothing about attending an NFL game in a suite as someone's guest is "I'm going to marry you" or "we're super exclusive" serious. It's like a not even celebrity date followed (seemingly) by an actual date. That doesn't mean it's "fake."
