I really don’t believe they minded violence so long as they were successful and quickly. When it became clear that the coup wasn’t successful almost instantly, they had to backpedal. I think Officer Goodman saved the country in a specific, pivotal moment and had he not led them away, the coup would have succeeded.

A humorous thing I remembered today looking at the slide show of how Hutchinson was a real person in the Trump Admin was how Trump’s hair and makeup were so weird that he looked photoshopped into one of the pictures.
