I haven't been over there in a while and I have a colleague coming into town and staying over there, where we'll meet for dinner. What place has good food, service, etc?
Thanks! |

| Capital Grille |
| Indique Heights is good. There are a lot of mediocre restaurants theere. |
capitol grill if you like steak and like to spend money great service,
pf chang's if you'd like to go low-key and reliable and chain. |
| Lia's is ok--nice seating area outside anyway if there's good weather so that's a plus. |
| I love Maggiano's. Great food/service even though it's a chain. |

PF Changs? Maggiano's ??? Oh come on, just say it. Cheesecake Factory. Now THERE is a real hidden gem.
j/k. I live here and have to say all the restaurants here are pretty putrid. Indique Heights is the best of the bunch. Lia's is OK. Actually, the two best places are down Wisconsin 2 blocks: Cafe of India (better than Indique) and Le Chat Noir. |
| Go up the street a bit and eat at Persimmon. Lia's isn't bad, but isn't that good either. And the Capital Grille is OK, but the pickings are slim around Friendship Heights (unlike all the people eating at the Cheesecake Factory and Maggiano's -- they are enormous!!). |
| Mmm....Tons of Fun burger at Cheesecake Factory. It makes you fat, but it sure does taste good. |
| Had an awful meal at Lia's the other day. Wouldn't go back again - which is a shame because I liked it before. |
