where would you be?

Would you be someplace in my house? Would you have wandered off someplace?

The last time I used my camera was a couple weeks ago and I know I had it in my house since I took the memory card out to upload pictures. But since then...I have no idea what happened. I can't remember any occassions where I would have needed a camera so I don't remember taking it out.

But at one point, I put the memory card back in the camera...what did I do with it then?

DH asked me for my camera this afternoon to take on a trip, and I have no idea where it might be.

I am in your kid's play kitchen.

Or I might be in the sideboard, where you put me to quickly clear space for a large project involving quantities of drying glue.

Or perhaps, if I'm a little coolpix type mini camera, I am in the pocket of the jacket/ cardigan/ bathrobe you were wearing.

But really, smart money is on the play kitchen.

Yeah, I was thinking the toy box. Or under/behind the desk/computer/printer. Or tucked on the bookshelf between books or something. Or in the bathroom because you took a picture of your toddler's bubble beard. Or in the kitchen/dining room where you left it after Avery dumped a bowl of spaghetti on his head and then fell asleep in his high chair with his head on a heap of pasta. Really, the possibilities are endless. Mine is usually in/on/around the nightstand because I upload pictures in bed.

We have no photos of about a six week period of DD's second year of life because that's where our camera was.

That's the thing that is making it so difficult! My camera is already in a backpack! It is my canon rebel and I have one of those backpack camera cases ( which is also missing so I assume camera is in backpack)! Grrr...off to check play kitchen

I'd check bags, toy bins or boxes, under beds, in laundry, in closets...
