Looking in NOVA region but will consider DC too. Thanks! I'm 40 and unhappy in career and need to figure out how to move in new direction. I've had a long pretty successful run in my field (10 plus years) but jumped to a new job a year ago and it was so bad I quit after 3 months. I got a new job 2 months later and this place is a disaster too. I'm so stressed and anxious that its impacting my family and son. I really want to find a good fit and obviously I am not picking well. Need help marketing and getting past this terrible job history in last year. Willing to put in time and effort and $$$ to figure this out and looking for great resource to help.
Thanks! |

Marianna Clampett (not sure the spelling is correct) is an excellent executive life/career coach. She is based out if NC but has clients in this area and travels frequently up this way. I haven't used her personally but was really impressed with her approach when she worked with a colleague of mine.
OP here thank you for the 2 suggestions...any others out there?
I'd be suspicious of anything like that one PP recommended... where you need to email them and they call you. I'd like to see an actual address, or at least a website, and get referrals...
OP here I am not an attorney I have a CPA and have have been in accounting and audit if that helps with new suggestions.
I used Rae Ringel and really, really liked her. http://www.ringelgroup.com/ I met with her for a couple of sessions as I prepared to leave one field for another. I thought I was a good interviewer but learned a ton from her and it made me feel much more confident. I changed a few things I was doing and saw immediate results.
