Alexandria restaurant with nice bar

Friends coming in from out of town want to have a nice dinner with us and have friends meet them at the bar after. It will be Saturday and we'd love for it not to be too crowded so we can talk. Prefer old town. Any suggestions?

columbia firehouse has great food and nice bar. Also there is Brabo and restaurant Eve.

The PX would be perfect for a small group wanting to have drinks and chat. Usually you have to make reservations well in advance, though.

Went to Columbia Firehouse and it was perfect. We left paperwork behind and they tracked me down and saved it for me. Excellent suggestion!
