There was no sparring of the rod in our family nor in his when he was growing up. We adored our father. Our friends did as well. It’s what she learned from her mother. She has a lot of emotional scars from her troubled childhood that she has unfortunately inflicted on her children.

After her parents marriage ended due to infidelity, Jolie purposely set out to be the other woman. It’s as if she wanted to inflict the pain her family felt on other women. She had no remorse or sympathy for Jennifer, Laura or any of the women she hurt.

And she had a mother who was so angry about her divorce that she alienated the kids from their father. Jolie is still bitter about the divorce until this day; she can’t stop talking about incidents from eight years ago. And of course she has also alienated her children from their father.

Brad, unfortunately, overlooked her many red flags and got involved with a mentally ill, damaged, unstable woman.

Actually I remember my dad getting drunk often when I was little. I also remember him whipping us when we disobeyed or were out of line. There was no sparring of the rod in our family nor in his when he was growing up. We adored our father. Our friends did as well. We knew he was a good man who loved us and did the best he could to provide for us. We miss him to this day.
BTW, many agencies investigated, mainly CPS, and concluded there was no abuse by Pitt. You probably disagree, but there’s loss all around in this situation. Nothing at all to celebrate.

Nicki Swift, citing Hollywood Life? Such solid sources! They did a few family hangouts when the kids were small, but that was it. Brad and Gavin were good friends at the time. Have not been photographed together since.

Salma doesn’t strike me as someone who cares what others think, good for her. You know the old saying how does an introvert make friends, an extrovert adopts them. That seems to be the case here.

Jolie always struck me as very complicated and, yes, introverted. Pitt would go to all the Hollywood shindigs to gladhand and she would stay home as much as possible. She’s on the record saying Brad and her kids were her best friends, and she didn’t talk to many other people. Never too late to change, even if only a little. Salma seems like a great person. I remember reading she hopped on a plane to cook for her husband’s ex when she was very ill. A good soul!
