Need child's costume advice for mythology themed Halloween!

Anonymous
So, my 7 year old daughter is obsessed with Greek mythology. She absolutely loves it and wants an all Greek Halloweeen this year for her siblings and herself. Fine by me - I am happy not to have them all dressed up as TV characters or Disney princesses. I have been looking online for non-trampy Greek mythology themed costumes and found a nice (but pricey) Medusa costume at Wishcraft and I found a boy's one eyed monster costume at Old Navy - perfect Cyclops little brother!

So here's where I need advice - we have a 9 month old baby, too - what can we dress her as to match the theme? I would buy her a Cyclops outfit also but Old Navy is sold out of her size. Any smart ideas, DCUMs?

Dress the baby as a statue -- the baby could be a victim of Medusa.

Eros(Cupid)
a spider=Arachne
lamb with glitter=golden fleece

My vote is Cupid.

Love these - great ideas! Keep 'em coming!
Thank you for your help - I know it's not the most earth-shatteringly important or meaningful post on DCUM today but it's a nice diversion on a Monday morning.

Cupid would work well or even just the generic toga and leaf crown

If you can find a horse costume she could be Pegasus.

Or a valentine's day type outfit; she could be Aphrodite (goddess of love)

Cupid would be adorable! You could even make a little bow and arrow with a heart where the point of the arrow would be!

A cute gargoyle?

I vote for Cupid... angel with the bow and arrow... perfect!

Quick update: Not finding much in the cupid department online - pretty much all I am finding are fuzzy wings and a halo shouwn on a nearly-naked baby (I think she'd be a tad cold!) But there are some good unicorn outfits out there...pegasus, anyone? I also like the spider and the golden fleece. Decisions, decisions.

A baby Hercules would be cute.

Or Aphrodite and Cupid. Love the golden fleece idea too.

The Arachne idea is great.

Could you make her a little baby toga and wreath of leaves?

Demeter Goddess of Harvest: Dress baby in Brown and Green and Put a little basket of Fruits and Veggies in the stroller with her. Now 3 problems solved: Kids won't be hungry while walking around, baby has Greek Costume, and it probably won't cost anything extra. PS-Leave the windex at home
